This is the unit with the ITX motherboard, custom power-supply, FM radio, and other bits installed.
The unit is sitting on an under-desk keyboard tray. Behind the unit is the cover for the case, in which
I still need to drill a number of holes for cooling.

Another (bird's eye) view of the hardware.

Here is the whole enclosure sealed up. Remember that I need to drill cooling holes still,
as the unit gets a bit warm on the inside as it is. The enclosure measures 7" x 10"
x 2" and can be seen sitting on a standard 8.5" x 11" magazine here.

Hidden out of view under the desk. This also puts most wires out of view.
Currently it is being powered by a 16V laptop power supply, but will eventually
be powered with 12V (nominal) from a vehicle.

The custom power supply which is fully vehicle-compliant. This means that it is designed to work on
anywhere from 8 volts to 17 volts DC, and has spike protection/filtering, and reverse voltage protection.
Other ITX power-supplies require a solid 12V DC input, and pass that straight through to the motherboard,
so they're not useable in vehicles.

Here the power-supply is installed in the case, with the 3 main chips bolted to the case
with (small) backing heatsinks. With this arrangement, the PS does not need additional cooling.
However, I have made space/provisions for fans to be installed if required once I install it
in the car.
